this is my garden.  it's not much yet, but i am excited to see what happens in the near future.  we spent the whole morning there, as a family, planting (finally!) seeds and doing more weeding.  i am a pro weeder these days.  i didn't realize that my fingernail area would be so sore afterwards.  especially after weeding grass.  not just any grass..."sin" grass, as stephen's grandma b calls it.

first i found this fabric...love at first sight.then i got an idea from a book and adapted it.then i drank from this glass while creating my creation.even canned chicken came in handy!who knew? all those things could create something so useful and colorful for my piano bench? love it.

the girls were sans st. patricks day garb, so I threw something together last minute...turned out pretty good, I must say! (just don't look too closely!)
